靜候主好音。長夜豈無曙。一心惟盼主。指我當行路。

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.

In the morning let me hear about your faithful love, because I’ve put my trust in you. Show me the way I should live, because I trust you with my life.

Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart, And lean not upon thine own understanding:In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he will direct thy paths.

Teach me thy way, O Jehovah; And lead me in a plain path, Because of mine enemies.

Yet Jehovah will command his lovingkindness in the day- time; And in the night his song shall be with me, Even a prayer unto the God of my life.

Unto thee, O Jehovah, do I lift up my soul.O my God, in thee have I trusted, Let me not be put to shame; Let not mine enemies triumph over me.

Teach me to do thy will; For thou art my God: Thy Spirit is good; Lead me in the land of uprightness.

But I will sing of thy strength; Yea, I will sing aloud of thy lovingkindness in the morning: For thou hast been my high tower, And a refuge in the day of my distress.

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will counsel thee with mine eye upon thee.

For his anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a life- time: Weeping may tarry for the night, But joy cometh in the morning.

Oh satisfy us in the morning with thy lovingkindness, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Rejoice the soul of thy servant; For unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.

Lead me, O Jehovah, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; Make thy way straight before my face.

Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; Yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

And let us know, let us follow on to know Jehovah: his going forth is sure as the morning; and he will come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain that watereth the earth.

And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was strained, as he wrestled with him.And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for thou hast striven with God and with men, and hast prevailed.And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
