既為主所眷。吾魂復何怖。息爾惶惶意。安心依大父。

恤此寡弱。錫以寧康。靡暴於眾。無凌於強。子孫振振。多於群羊。民生裕哉。如熙春陽。賢者覩此。相顧怡悅。不肖覩此。相顧結舌。

百憂結柔腸。吾命瀕危亡。雖生無異死。無告亦無望。譬彼陳死人。寂寞杳冥鄉。久為主所絕。已為主所忘。處身幽壑中。黯澹不見光。聖怒加吾身。風濤不堪當。

誦主願無間。美辭恆在脣。

彼等以暫時忍受、換得永久之福樂、不亦可羨乎？約伯之忍耐、爾曾聞之、且曾見之。而主之如何溫燠其晚境、皆昭昭在爾耳目。主之富於惻怛哀矜、於此可見一斑。

歡忭鼓舞主懷中。心歌腹詠至尊號。

爾知我艱辛。爾識我心苦。雖苦亦自甘。悅懌爾仁恕。

務使君子。因我歡欣。咸稱我主。不負丹忱。
