He shall send from heaven and save me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up. Selah God shall send forth His mercy and His truth.My soul is among lions; I lie among the sons of men Who are set on fire, Whose teeth are spears and arrows, And their tongue a sharp sword.

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me.

Who remembered us in our lowly state, For His mercy endures forever;

Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.

Why do You hide Your face, And forget our affliction and our oppression?For our soul is bowed down to the dust; Our body clings to the ground.Arise for our help, And redeem us for Your mercies’ sake.
