I look for someone to come and help me, but no one gives me a passing thought! No one will help me; no one cares a bit what happens to me.

小子落魄日。惟主知其路。吾路一何險。羅網密密布。

Look and see, there is no one at my right hand; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life.

Look and see that no one is on my right side to help me. No one is concerned about me. I have no place of safety. No one cares whether I live or die.

Look to the right and see: there is none who takes notice of me; no refuge remains to me; no one cares for my soul.

Look to the right and see: no one stands up for me; there is no refuge for me; no one cares about me.

Look to the right and see; For there is no one who regards me favorably; There is no escape for me; No one cares for my soul.

Look on my right hand and see, For there is no one who acknowledges me; Refuge has failed me; No one cares for my soul.

Look on my right hand, and see; For there is no man that knoweth me: Refuge hath failed me; No man careth for my soul.

Look to the right and see: no one stands up for me; there is no refuge for me; no one cares about me.

I looked on[ my] right hand, and beheld, but[ there was] no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

Look to the right and see! No one cares about me. I have nowhere to run; no one is concerned about my life.

You have taken away my companions and loved ones. Darkness is my closest friend.

I am scorned by all my enemies and despised by my neighbors— even my friends are afraid to come near me. When they see me on the street, they run the other way.

But this is all happening to fulfill the words of the prophets as recorded in the Scriptures.” At that point, all the disciples deserted him and fled.

I will give you back your health and heal your wounds,” says the Lord.“ For you are called an outcast—‘ Jerusalem for whom no one cares.’”

You have driven my friends away by making me repulsive to them. I am in a trap with no way of escape.

“ My relatives stay far away, and my friends have turned against me.My family is gone, and my close friends have forgotten me.My servants and maids consider me a stranger. I am like a foreigner to them.When I call my servant, he doesn’t come; I have to plead with him!My breath is repulsive to my wife. I am rejected by my own family.Even young children despise me. When I stand to speak, they turn their backs on me.My close friends detest me. Those I loved have turned against me.

Their insults have broken my heart, and I am in despair. If only one person would show some pity; if only one would turn and comfort me.

But David kept thinking to himself,“ Someday Saul is going to get me. The best thing I can do is escape to the Philistines. Then Saul will stop hunting for me in Israelite territory, and I will finally be safe.”

But the wicked will be blinded. They will have no escape. Their only hope is death.”

Will the leaders of Keilah betray me to him? And will Saul actually come as I have heard? O Lord, God of Israel, please tell me.” And the Lord said,“ He will come.”Again David asked,“ Will the leaders of Keilah betray me and my men to Saul?” And the Lord replied,“ Yes, they will betray you.”So David and his men— about 600 of them now— left Keilah and began roaming the countryside. Word soon reached Saul that David had escaped, so he didn’t go to Keilah after all.

You will find no place to hide; there will be no way to escape.

The first time I was brought before the judge, no one came with me. Everyone abandoned me. May it not be counted against them.

But now the men of Ziph went to Saul in Gibeah and betrayed David to him.“ We know where David is hiding,” they said.“ He is in the strongholds of Horesh on the hill of Hakilah, which is in the southern part of Jeshimon.Come down whenever you’re ready, O king, and we will catch him and hand him over to you!”
