惟任義人擊我、我以為慈、任其責我、如膏膏首、勿容我首卻之、而我仍以祈禱、禦惡人之邪僻兮、

義者責我、我以為仁慈、視若香膏、屢膏余首、無不悅懌、余有所祈、勿為惡者株連兮。

憑善人責我、我以為恩惠、懲治我、我以為沐首之膏、再三責我、我首決然不避、彼遭患難、我便祈禱、

寧受賢人責。苦口是良藥。莫受惡人諛。蜜中含辛螫。任憑彼作惡。吾禱終不輟。

Let a righteous man strike me— that is a kindness; let him rebuke me— that is oil on my head. My head will not refuse it, for my prayer will still be against the deeds of evildoers.

If a godly person hit me, it would be an act of kindness. If they would correct me, it would be like pouring olive oil on my head. I wouldn’t say no to it. I will always pray against the things that sinful people do.

Let a righteous man strike me— it is a kindness; let him rebuke me— it is oil for my head; let my head not refuse it. Yet my prayer is continually against their evil deeds.

Let the godly strike me! It will be a kindness! If they correct me, it is soothing medicine. Don’t let me refuse it. But I pray constantly against the wicked and their deeds.

聽智慧人的責備，強如聽愚昧人的歌唱。

弟兄們，若有人偶然被過犯所勝，你們屬靈的人就當用溫柔的心把他挽回過來；又當自己小心，恐怕也被引誘。

智慧人的勸戒，在順從的人耳中，好像金耳環和精金的妝飾。

因為誡命是燈，法則是光，訓誨的責備是生命的道，

後來，磯法到了安提阿；因他有可責之處，我就當面抵擋他。從雅各那裏來的人未到以先，他和外邦人一同吃飯，及至他們來到，他因怕奉割禮的人，就退去與外邦人隔開了。其餘的猶太人也都隨着他裝假，甚至連巴拿巴也隨夥裝假。但我一看見他們行的不正，與福音的真理不合，就在眾人面前對磯法說：「你既是猶太人，若隨外邦人行事，不隨猶太人行事，怎麼還勉強外邦人隨猶太人呢？」

鞭打褻慢人，愚蒙人必長見識；責備明哲人，他就明白知識。

不先商議，所謀無效；謀士眾多，所謀乃成。

先知與王說話的時候，王對他說：「誰立你作王的謀士呢？你住口吧！為何找打呢？」先知就止住了，又說：「你行這事，不聽從我的勸戒，我知道神定意要滅你。」

當面的責備強如背地的愛情。朋友加的傷痕出於忠誠；仇敵連連親嘴卻是多餘。

只是我告訴你們，要愛你們的仇敵，為那逼迫你們的禱告。

愚妄人藐視父親的管教；領受責備的，得着見識。

不要責備褻慢人，恐怕他恨你；要責備智慧人，他必愛你。教導智慧人，他就越發有智慧；指示義人，他就增長學問。

凡我所疼愛的，我就責備管教他；所以你要發熱心，也要悔改。

在我敵人面前，你為我擺設筵席；你用油膏了我的頭，使我的福杯滿溢。

求你隨你的美意善待錫安，建造耶路撒冷的城牆。

那時，先見哈拿尼來見猶大王亞撒，對他說：「因你仰賴亞蘭王，沒有仰賴耶和華－你的神，所以亞蘭王的軍兵脫離了你的手。古實人、路比人的軍隊不是甚大嗎？戰車馬兵不是極多嗎？只因你仰賴耶和華，他便將他們交在你手裏。耶和華的眼目遍察全地，要顯大能幫助向他心存誠實的人。你這事行得愚昧；此後，你必有爭戰的事。」亞撒因此惱恨先見，將他囚在監裏。那時亞撒也虐待一些人民。

耶和華啊，求你善待那些為善和心裏正直的人。

你們中間有病了的呢，他就該請教會的長老來；他們可以奉主的名用油抹他，為他禱告。出於信心的祈禱要救那病人，主必叫他起來；他若犯了罪，也必蒙赦免。所以你們要彼此認罪，互相代求，使你們可以得醫治。義人祈禱所發的力量是大有功效的。

拿單對大衛說：「你就是那人！耶和華－以色列的神如此說：『我膏你作以色列的王，救你脫離掃羅的手。我將你主人的家業賜給你，將你主人的妻交在你懷裏，又將以色列和猶大家賜給你；你若還以為不足，我早就加倍地賜給你。你為甚麼藐視耶和華的命令，行他眼中看為惡的事呢？你借亞捫人的刀殺害赫人烏利亞，又娶了他的妻為妻。你既藐視我，娶了赫人烏利亞的妻為妻，所以刀劍必永不離開你的家。』耶和華如此說：『我必從你家中興起禍患攻擊你；我必在你眼前把你的妃嬪賜給別人，他在日光之下就與她們同寢。你在暗中行這事，我卻要在以色列眾人面前，日光之下，報應你。』」大衛對拿單說：「我得罪耶和華了！」拿單說：「耶和華已經除掉你的罪，你必不至於死。

願主憐憫阿尼色弗一家的人；因他屢次使我暢快，不以我的鎖鍊為恥，反倒在羅馬的時候，殷勤地找我，並且找着了。願主使他在那日得主的憐憫。他在以弗所怎樣多多地服事我，是你明明知道的。
