Yahweh, keep me from the hands of the wicked. Preserve me from the violent men who have determined to trip my feet.

求主保護我脫離惡人之手、扶持我脫離欲使我失足之強暴人、

舌如蠆尾。口含荼毒。

Keep me safe, Lord, from the hands of the wicked; protect me from the violent, who devise ways to trip my feet.

Lord, keep me safe from the hands of sinful people. Protect me from those who want to hurt me. They plan ways to trip me up and make me fall.

Guard me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from violent men, who have planned to trip up my feet.

O Lord, keep me out of the hands of the wicked. Protect me from those who are violent, for they are plotting against me.

Protect me, LORD, from the power of the wicked. Keep me safe from violent men who plan to make me stumble.

Don’t let the foot of pride come against me. Don’t let the hand of the wicked drive me away.

Keep me as the apple of your eye. Hide me under the shadow of your wings,from the wicked who oppress me, my deadly enemies, who surround me.

My steps have held fast to your paths. My feet have not slipped.

To be partial to the faces of the wicked is not good, nor to deprive the innocent of justice.

Listen to my prayer, God. Don’t hide yourself from my supplication.Attend to me, and answer me. I am restless in my complaint, and moanbecause of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked. For they bring suffering on me. In anger they hold a grudge against me.

The wicked watch the righteous, and seek to kill him.Yahweh will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.Wait for Yahweh, and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land. When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.I have seen the wicked in great power, spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil.But he passed away, and behold, he was not. Yes, I sought him, but he could not be found.Mark the perfect man, and see the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace.As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together. The future of the wicked shall be cut off.But the salvation of the righteous is from Yahweh. He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.Yahweh helps them and rescues them. He rescues them from the wicked and saves them, because they have taken refuge in him.
