O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but[ it is] abomination to fools to depart from evil.

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny[ him], being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful,[ and] hating one another.

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Though thou shouldest bray a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle,[ yet] will not his foolishness depart from him.

Let not my lord, I pray thee, regard this man of Belial,[ even] Nabal: for as his name[ is], so[ is] he; Nabal[ is] his name, and folly[ is] with him: but I thine handmaid saw not the young men of my lord, whom thou didst send.

Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.

Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

How much more abominable and filthy[ is] man, which drinketh iniquity like water?

And thou sayest, How doth God know? can he judge through the dark cloud?

For I was envious at the foolish,[ when] I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

[ How long] shall they utter[ and] speak hard things?[ and] all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard[ it].Understand, ye brutish among the people: and[ ye] fools, when will ye be wise?

The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart,[ that there is] no fear of God before his eyes.For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.The words of his mouth[ are] iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise,[ and] to do good.He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way[ that is] not good; he abhorreth not evil.

Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God[ endureth] continually.Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.Thou lovest evil more than good;[ and] lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.Thou lovest all devouring words, O[ thou] deceitful tongue.God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of[ thy] dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living.
