The stupid man cannot know; the fool cannot understand this:

The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight, and the earth was filled with violence.And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

But God said to him,‘ Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’

remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

“ How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple? How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge?

For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander.

A desire fulfilled is sweet to the soul, but to turn away from evil is an abomination to fools.

They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.

For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another.

And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.

Crush a fool in a mortar with a pestle along with crushed grain, yet his folly will not depart from him.

Let not my lord regard this worthless fellow, Nabal, for as his name is, so is he. Nabal is his name, and folly is with him. But I your servant did not see the young men of my lord, whom you sent.

Some were fools through their sinful ways, and because of their iniquities suffered affliction;

Ah, sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, children who deal corruptly! They have forsaken the Lord, they have despised the Holy One of Israel, they are utterly estranged.

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

how much less one who is abominable and corrupt, a man who drinks injustice like water!

But you say,‘ What does God know? Can he judge through the deep darkness?

For I was envious of the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

They pour out their arrogant words; all the evildoers boast.They crush your people, O Lord, and afflict your heritage.They kill the widow and the sojourner, and murder the fatherless;and they say,“ The Lord does not see; the God of Jacob does not perceive.”Understand, O dullest of the people! Fools, when will you be wise?

Transgression speaks to the wicked deep in his heart; there is no fear of God before his eyes.For he flatters himself in his own eyes that his iniquity cannot be found out and hated.The words of his mouth are trouble and deceit; he has ceased to act wisely and do good.He plots trouble while on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not reject evil.

Why do you boast of evil, O mighty man? The steadfast love of God endures all the day.Your tongue plots destruction, like a sharp razor, you worker of deceit.You love evil more than good, and lying more than speaking what is right. SelahYou love all words that devour, O deceitful tongue.But God will break you down forever; he will snatch and tear you from your tent; he will uproot you from the land of the living. SelahThe righteous shall see and fear, and shall laugh at him, saying,
