我若升到天上，你在那里；我若在阴间下榻，你也在那里。

我若升到天上，你在那裏；我若在陰間下榻，你也在那裏。

若上升於高天、爾在於彼、若下榻於陰府、爾在於斯兮、

如上升於穹蒼、爾居於彼、如長眠於地下、爾亦在彼兮、

我若上升於天、主乃在彼、我若下榻於示阿勒、示阿勒見六篇五節小註主亦在彼、

曰躍於天。主在雲表。曰潛於淵。主伏於沼。

If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.

If I go up to the heavens, you are there. If I lie down in the deepest parts of the earth, you are also there.

If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!

If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there.

If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there.

If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.

If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, thou art there.

If I go up to heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, You are there.

If I ascend up into heaven, thou[ art] there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou[ art there].

If I were to ascend to heaven, you would be there. If I were to sprawl out in Sheol, there you would be.

If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there!

Though they dig into Sheol, From there My hand will take them; And though they ascend to heaven, From there I will bring them down.And though they hide on the summit of Carmel, I will track them down and take them from there; And though they hide themselves from My sight on the bottom of the sea, I will command the serpent from there, and it will bite them.And though they go into captivity before their enemies, From there I will command the sword and it will kill them, And I will set My eyes against them for harm and not for good.”

and he said,“ I called out of my distress to the Lord, And He answered me. I called for help from the depth of Sheol; You heard my voice.

“ For His eyes are upon the ways of a person, And He sees all his steps.There is no darkness or deep shadow Where the workers of injustice can hide themselves.

Sheol and Abaddon lie open before the Lord, How much more the hearts of mankind!

Sheol is naked before Him, And Abaddon has no covering.

“ Son of man, take up a song of mourning over the king of Tyre and say to him,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ You had the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The ruby, the topaz and the diamond; The beryl, the onyx and the jasper; The lapis lazuli, the turquoise and the emerald; And the gold, the workmanship of your settings and sockets, Was in you. On the day that you were created They were prepared.You were the anointed cherub who covers, And I placed you there. You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked in the midst of the stones of fire.You were blameless in your ways From the day you were created Until unrighteousness was found in you.By the abundance of your trade You were internally filled with violence, And you sinned; Therefore I have cast you as profane From the mountain of God. And I have destroyed you, you covering cherub, From the midst of the stones of fire.Your heart was haughty because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendor. I threw you to the ground; I put you before kings, That they may see you.

Though you make your home high like the eagle, Though you set your nest among the stars, From there I will bring you down,” declares the Lord.
