主歟、我舌所發之言、主無不周知、

心聲未發。主已先知。

Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.

Lord, even before I speak a word, you know all about it.

Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.

You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord.

Before a word is on my tongue, you know all about it, LORD.

Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, Lord, You know it all.

For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.

For there is not a word in my tongue, But, lo, O Jehovah, thou knowest it altogether.

Before a word is on my tongue, You know all about it, Lord.

For[ there is] not a word in my tongue,[ but], lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.

Certainly my tongue does not frame a word without you, O LORD, being thoroughly aware of it.

For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two- edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him to whom we must give an account.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer.

“ You give your mouth to evil. Your tongue frames deceit.You sit and speak against your brother. You slander your own mother’s son.You have done these things, and I kept silent. You thought that I was just like you. I will rebuke you, and accuse you in front of your eyes.

If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn’t bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man’s religion is worthless.

You asked,‘ Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ therefore I have uttered that which I didn’t understand, things too wonderful for me, which I didn’t know.

“ How long will you speak these things? Shall the words of your mouth be a mighty wind?

Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”It was so, that after Yahweh had spoken these words to Job, Yahweh said to Eliphaz the Temanite,“ My wrath is kindled against you, and against your two friends; for you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.Now therefore, take to yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept him, that I not deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.”

It will happen at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will punish the men who are settled on their dregs, who say in their heart,“ Yahweh will not do good, neither will he do evil.”

“ Who is this who darkens counsel by words without knowledge?

For we all stumble in many things. Anyone who doesn’t stumble in word is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also.Indeed, we put bits into the horses’ mouths so that they may obey us, and we guide their whole body.Behold, the ships also, though they are so big and are driven by fierce winds, are yet guided by a very small rudder, wherever the pilot desires.So the tongue is also a little member, and boasts great things. See how a small fire can spread to a large forest!And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by Gehenna.For every kind of animal, bird, creeping thing, and sea creature, is tamed, and has been tamed by mankind;but nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men who are made in the image of God.Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.

The good man out of his good treasure brings out good things, and the evil man out of his evil treasure brings out evil things.I tell you that every idle word that men speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

“ Your words have been stout against me,” says Yahweh.“ Yet you say,‘ What have we spoken against you?’You have said,‘ It is vain to serve God;’ and‘ What profit is it that we have followed his instructions, and that we have walked mournfully before Yahweh of Armies?Now we call the proud happy; yes, those who work wickedness are built up; yes, they tempt God, and escape.’Then those who feared Yahweh spoke one with another; and Yahweh listened, and heard, and a book of memory was written before him, for those who feared Yahweh, and who honored his name.

because they have done foolish things in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbors’ wives, and have spoken words in my name falsely, which I didn’t command them. I am he who knows, and am witness,” says Yahweh.
