But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children’s children,

O Lord, you will ordain peace for us, for you have indeed done for us all our works.

I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their own good and the good of their children after them.I will make with them an everlasting covenant, that I will not turn away from doing good to them. And I will put the fear of me in their hearts, that they may not turn from me.

Therefore let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good.

Upon you I have leaned from before my birth; you are he who took me from my mother’s womb. O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds.So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come.
