以智慧造天、主之恩慈、永遠常存、

who by his understanding made the heavens, His love endures forever.

太初，上帝创造了天地。

耶和华用自己的能力创造大地，以自己的智慧建立世界，凭自己的聪明铺展穹苍。

耶和华啊，你的创造多么繁多！你用智慧造了这一切，大地充满了你创造的万物。

“在耶和华造物的起头，在太初万物被造以前，就已经有我。从亘古，从太初，大地还没有形成以前，我已经被立。没有深渊，没有涌流的水泉以前，我已经诞生。大山未曾奠定，小丘未曾形成，我已经出生。那时耶和华还没有造大地和原野，还没有造一粒尘土。祂铺设诸天的时候，我已在场。祂在深渊上画出地平线，上使穹苍坚固，下使深渊的泉源安稳，设定沧海的界限，使海水不得越过祂定的范围，为大地奠定根基的时候，

诸天靠祂的话而造，群星靠祂口中的气而成。

耶和华施展大能，用智慧创造大地和世界，巧妙地铺展穹苍。

耶和华以智慧奠立大地，以悟性铺设诸天；祂的知识使深渊裂开，使天上降下甘霖。
