He remembered us in our low estate His love endures forever.

Give thanks to the God who remembered us when things were going badly. His faithful love continues forever.

He remembered us in our weakness. His faithful love endures forever.

He remembered us in our humiliation His faithful love endures forever.

Who remembered us in our lowliness, For His faithfulness is everlasting,

Who remembered us in our lowly state, For His mercy endures forever;

Who remembered us in our low estate; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever;

He remembered us in our humiliation His love is eternal.

Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:

to the one who remembered us when we were down, for his loyal love endures,

who remembered us in our low estate; for his loving kindness endures forever;

He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap,

In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them; in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.

For the Lord will vindicate his people and have compassion on his servants, when he sees that their power is gone and there is none remaining, bond or free.

he regards the prayer of the destitute and does not despise their prayer.

and say, Thus says the Lord God to Jerusalem: Your origin and your birth are of the land of the Canaanites; your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite.And as for your birth, on the day you were born your cord was not cut, nor were you washed with water to cleanse you, nor rubbed with salt, nor wrapped in swaddling cloths.No eye pitied you, to do any of these things to you out of compassion for you, but you were cast out on the open field, for you were abhorred, on the day that you were born.“ And when I passed by you and saw you wallowing in your blood, I said to you in your blood,‘ Live!’ I said to you in your blood,‘ Live!’I made you flourish like a plant of the field. And you grew up and became tall and arrived at full adornment. Your breasts were formed, and your hair had grown; yet you were naked and bare.“ When I passed by you again and saw you, behold, you were at the age for love, and I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your nakedness; I made my vow to you and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Lord God, and you became mine.Then I bathed you with water and washed off your blood from you and anointed you with oil.I clothed you also with embroidered cloth and shod you with fine leather. I wrapped you in fine linen and covered you with silk.And I adorned you with ornaments and put bracelets on your wrists and a chain on your neck.And I put a ring on your nose and earrings in your ears and a beautiful crown on your head.Thus you were adorned with gold and silver, and your clothing was of fine linen and silk and embroidered cloth. You ate fine flour and honey and oil. You grew exceedingly beautiful and advanced to royalty.

But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the livestock that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters subsided.

Attend to my cry, for I am brought very low! Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me!

for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant. For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed;

For he delivers the needy when he calls, the poor and him who has no helper.He has pity on the weak and the needy, and saves the lives of the needy.From oppression and violence he redeems their life, and precious is their blood in his sight.

The Lord preserves the simple; when I was brought low, he saved me.

Many times he delivered them, but they were rebellious in their purposes and were brought low through their iniquity.Nevertheless, he looked upon their distress, when he heard their cry.For their sake he remembered his covenant, and relented according to the abundance of his steadfast love.

The Lord makes poor and makes rich; he brings low and he exalts.He raises up the poor from the dust; he lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor. For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and on them he has set the world.

he has brought down the mighty from their thrones and exalted those of humble estate;
