He led them in safety, so that they were not afraid, but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.
who in your midst, O Egypt, sent signs and wonders against Pharaoh and all his servants;
Pour out your anger on the nations that do not know you, and on the kingdoms that do not call upon your name!For they have devoured Jacob and laid waste his habitation.Do not remember against us our former iniquities; let your compassion come speedily to meet us, for we are brought very low.Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name; deliver us, and atone for our sins, for your name’s sake!

And you made a name for yourself, as it is to this day.And you divided the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on dry land, and you cast their pursuers into the depths, as a stone into mighty waters.
So Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its normal course when the morning appeared. And as the Egyptians fled into it, the Lord threw the Egyptians into the midst of the sea.The waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen; of all the host of Pharaoh that had followed them into the sea, not one of them remained.
And in your steadfast love you will cut off my enemies, and you will destroy all the adversaries of my soul, for I am your servant.
By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness, O God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas;
