And it came to pass the selfsame day,[ that] the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.

And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this[ place]: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not[ through] the way of the land of the Philistines, although that[ was] near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:

But made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.

He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and[ there was] not one feeble[ person] among their tribes.

And Samuel said unto the people,[ It is] the LORD that advanced Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.Now therefore stand still, that I may reason with you before the LORD of all the righteous acts of the LORD, which he did to you and to your fathers.When Jacob was come into Egypt, and your fathers cried unto the LORD, then the LORD sent Moses and Aaron, which brought forth your fathers out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place.
