Whatsoever the LORD pleased,[ that] did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.

The Lord does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths.

The Lord does anything he wants to do in the heavens and on the earth. He does it even in the deepest parts of the oceans.

Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times[ the things] that are not[ yet] done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

For he spake, and it was[ done]; he commanded, and it stood fast.

And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

[ It is] he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD[ is] his name.

And all the inhabitants of the earth[ are] reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and[ among] the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what[ is] his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts,[ is] his name.

The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
