Indeed, the LORD has chosen Jacob for himself, Israel to be his special possession.

For the Lord has chosen Jacob to be his own, Israel to be his treasured possession.

The Lord has chosen the people of Jacob to be his own. He has chosen Israel to be his special treasure.

For the Lord has chosen Jacob for himself, Israel as his own possession.

For Jehovah hath chosen Jacob unto himself, And Israel for his own possession.

For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself,[ and] Israel for his peculiar treasure.

For Yah has chosen Jacob for himself, Israel for his own possession.

However, only to your ancestors did he show his loving favor, and he chose you, their descendants, from all peoples– as is apparent today.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

“ They will belong to me,” says the LORD who rules over all,“ in the day when I prepare my own special property. I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him.

For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. He has chosen you to be his people, prized above all others on the face of the earth.It is not because you were more numerous than all the other peoples that the LORD favored and chose you– for in fact you were the least numerous of all peoples.

He gave himself for us to set us free from every kind of lawlessness and to purify for himself a people who are truly his, who are eager to do good.

For the LORD’s allotment is his people, Jacob is his special possession.

The wild animals of the desert honor me, the jackals and ostriches, because I put water in the desert and streams in the wilderness, to quench the thirst of my chosen people,the people whom I formed for myself, so they might praise me.”

“ You, my servant Israel, Jacob whom I have chosen, offspring of Abraham my friend,

And now, if you will diligently listen to me and keep my covenant, then you will be my special possession out of all the nations, for all the earth is mine,and you will be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you will speak to the Israelites.”

The LORD will not abandon his people because he wants to uphold his great reputation. The LORD was pleased to make you his own people.

“ Sing out and be happy, Zion my daughter! For look, I have come; I will settle in your midst,” says the LORD.“ Many nations will join themselves to the LORD on the day of salvation, and they will also be my people. Indeed, I will settle in the midst of you all.” Then you will know that the LORD who rules over all has sent me to you.The LORD will take possession of Judah as his portion in the holy land and he will choose Jerusalem once again.

How blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen to be his special possession.

O children of Abraham, God’s servant, you descendants of Jacob, God’s chosen ones!
