Joshua 12:7-24
These are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the children of Israel struck beyond the Jordan westward, from Baal Gad in the valley of Lebanon even to Mount Halak, that goes up to Seir. Joshua gave it to the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions;in the hill country, and in the lowland, and in the Arabah, and in the slopes, and in the wilderness, and in the South; the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:the king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;the king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;the king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one;the king of Makkedah, one; the king of Bethel, one;the king of Tappuah, one; the king of Hepher, one;the king of Aphek, one; the king of Lassharon, one;the king of Madon, one; the king of Hazor, one;the king of Shimron Meron, one; the king of Achshaph, one;the king of Taanach, one; the king of Megiddo, one;the king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam in Carmel, one;the king of Dor in the height of Dor, one; the king of Goiim in Gilgal, one;the king of Tirzah, one: all the kings thirty- one.

Moreover you gave them kingdoms and peoples, which you allotted according to their portions. So they possessed the land of Sihon, even the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan.

Joshua 10:1-12
Now when Adoni- Zedek king of Jerusalem heard how Joshua had taken Ai, and had utterly destroyed it; as he had done to Jericho and her king, so he had done to Ai and her king; and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them,they were very afraid, because Gibeon was a great city, as one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai, and all its men were mighty.Therefore Adoni- Zedek king of Jerusalem sent to Hoham king of Hebron, Piram king of Jarmuth, Japhia king of Lachish, and Debir king of Eglon, saying,“ Come up to me and help me. Let’s strike Gibeon; for they have made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel.”Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together and went up, they and all their armies, and encamped against Gibeon, and made war against it.The men of Gibeon sent to Joshua at the camp at Gilgal, saying,“ Don’t abandon your servants! Come up to us quickly and save us! Help us; for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the hill country have gathered together against us.”So Joshua went up from Gilgal, he, and the whole army with him, including all the mighty men of valor.Yahweh said to Joshua,“ Don’t fear them, for I have delivered them into your hands. Not a man of them will stand before you.”Joshua therefore came to them suddenly. He marched from Gilgal all night.Yahweh confused them before Israel. He killed them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them by the way of the ascent of Beth Horon, and struck them to Azekah and to Makkedah.As they fled from before Israel, while they were at the descent of Beth Horon, Yahweh hurled down great stones from the sky on them to Azekah, and they died. There were more who died from the hailstones than those whom the children of Israel killed with the sword.Then Joshua spoke to Yahweh in the day when Yahweh delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel. He said in the sight of Israel,“ Sun, stand still on Gibeon! You, moon, stop in the valley of Aijalon!”

Deuteronomy 2:30-3:11
But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him; for Yahweh your God hardened his spirit and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into your hand, as it is today.Yahweh said to me,“ Behold, I have begun to deliver up Sihon and his land before you. Begin to possess, that you may inherit his land.”Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Jahaz.Yahweh our God delivered him up before us; and we struck him, his sons, and all his people.We took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed every inhabited city, with the women and the little ones. We left no one remaining.Only the livestock we took for plunder for ourselves, with the plunder of the cities which we had taken.From Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the valley, even to Gilead, there was not a city too high for us. Yahweh our God delivered up all before us.Only to the land of the children of Ammon you didn’t come near: all the banks of the river Jabbok, and the cities of the hill country, and wherever Yahweh our God forbade us.Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan. Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.Yahweh said to me,“ Don’t fear him; for I have delivered him, with all his people, and his land, into your hand. You shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon.”So Yahweh our God delivered into our hand Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people. We struck him until no one was left to him remaining.We took all his cities at that time. There was not a city which we didn’t take from them: sixty cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.All these were cities fortified with high walls, gates, and bars, in addition to a great many villages without walls.We utterly destroyed them, as we did to Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying every inhabited city, with the women and the little ones.But all the livestock, and the plunder of the cities, we took for plunder for ourselves.We took the land at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, from the valley of the Arnon to Mount Hermon.( The Sidonians call Hermon Sirion, and the Amorites call it Senir.)We took all the cities of the plain, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, to Salecah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.( For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of the Rephaim. Behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron. Isn’t it in Rabbah of the children of Ammon? Nine cubits was its length, and four cubits its width, after the cubit of a man.)

When you came to this place, Sihon the king of Heshbon and Og the king of Bashan came out against us to battle, and we struck them.

Numbers 21:21-35
Israel sent messengers to Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,“ Let me pass through your land. We will not turn away into field or vineyard. We will not drink of the water of the wells. We will go by the king’s highway, until we have passed your border.”Sihon would not allow Israel to pass through his border, but Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the wilderness, and came to Jahaz. He fought against Israel.Israel struck him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, even to the children of Ammon; for the border of the children of Ammon was fortified.Israel took all these cities. Israel lived in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all its villages.For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even to the Arnon.Therefore those who speak in proverbs say,“ Come to Heshbon. Let the city of Sihon be built and established;for a fire has gone out of Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon. It has devoured Ar of Moab, The lords of the high places of the Arnon.Woe to you, Moab! You are undone, people of Chemosh! He has given his sons as fugitives, and his daughters into captivity, to Sihon king of the Amorites.We have shot at them. Heshbon has perished even to Dibon. We have laid waste even to Nophah, Which reaches to Medeba.”Thus Israel lived in the land of the Amorites.Moses sent to spy out Jazer. They took its villages, and drove out the Amorites who were there.They turned and went up by the way of Bashan. Og the king of Bashan went out against them, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.Yahweh said to Moses,“ Don’t fear him, for I have delivered him into your hand, with all his people, and his land. You shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon.”So they struck him, with his sons and all his people, until there were no survivors; and they possessed his land.
