Then the Lord came down in a cloud and stood there with him; and he called out his own name, Yahweh.The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out,“ Yahweh! The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations. I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin. But I do not excuse the guilty. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children and grandchildren; the entire family is affected— even children in the third and fourth generations.”

And so the Lord’s fame will be celebrated in Zion, his praises in Jerusalem,

Praise the Lord! Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.

Praise the Lord! I will thank the Lord with all my heart as I meet with his godly people.

Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them.

Let the godly sing for joy to the Lord; it is fitting for the pure to praise him.Praise the Lord with melodies on the lyre; make music for him on the ten stringed harp.

Then the leaders of the Levites— Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah— called out to the people:“ Stand up and praise the Lord your God, for he lives from everlasting to everlasting!” Then they prayed:“ May your glorious name be praised! May it be exalted above all blessing and praise!

Sing a new song to the Lord! Let the whole earth sing to the Lord!Sing to the Lord; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be feared above all gods.

I will thank the Lord because he is just; I will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.

Praise the Lord! How joyful are those who fear the Lord and delight in obeying his commands.

Praise the Lord! Yes, give praise, O servants of the Lord. Praise the name of the Lord!Blessed be the name of the Lord now and forever.Everywhere— from east to west— praise the name of the Lord.

Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them.

Praise the Lord, all you nations. Praise him, all you people of the earth.For his unfailing love for us is powerful; the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever. Praise the Lord!

Let them all praise the name of the Lord. For his name is very great; his glory towers over the earth and heaven!
