May God rise up and scatter his enemies. May they turn and run away from him.

When the ark started out, Moses said,“ Lord, rise up! Let your enemies be scattered. Let them run away from you.”When the ark stopped, Moses said,“ Lord, return. Return to the many thousands of people in Israel.”

He allowed the ark to be captured. Into the hands of his enemies he sent the ark where his glory rested.
