For the sake of your servant David, do not reject your anointed one.

In honor of your servant David, don’t turn your back on your anointed king.

For the sake of your servant David, do not turn away the face of your anointed one.

For the sake of your servant David, do not reject the king you have anointed.

For the sake of your servant David, do not reject your anointed one.

For the sake of Your servant David, Do not turn away the face of Your anointed.

For Your servant David’s sake, Do not turn away the face of Your Anointed.

For thy servant David’s sake Turn not away the face of thine anointed.

Because of Your servant David, do not reject Your anointed one.

I will shield this city and rescue it for the sake of my reputation and because of my promise to David my servant.’”

O LORD God, do not reject your chosen ones! Remember the faithful promises you made to your servant David!”

I will not take the whole kingdom from his hand. I will allow him to be ruler for the rest of his life for the sake of my chosen servant David who kept my commandments and rules.

O God, take notice of our shield! Show concern for your chosen king!

Nevertheless for David’s sake the LORD his God maintained his dynasty in Jerusalem by giving him a son to succeed him and by protecting Jerusalem.He did this because David had done what he approved and had not disregarded any of his commandments his entire lifetime, except for the incident involving Uriah the Hittite.

However, for your father David’s sake I will not do this while you are alive. I will tear it away from your son’s hand instead.But I will not tear away the entire kingdom; I will leave your son one tribe for my servant David’s sake and for the sake of my chosen city Jerusalem.”

Afterward, the Israelites will turn and seek the LORD their God and their Davidic king. Then they will submit to the LORD in fear and receive his blessings in the future.

But you have spurned and rejected him; you are angry with your chosen king.You have repudiated your covenant with your servant; you have thrown his crown to the ground.
