But you forgive. So we can serve you with respect.

But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.

I will wash from its people all the sins they have committed against me. And I will forgive all the sins they committed when they turned away from me.Then this city will bring me fame, joy, praise and honor. All the nations on earth will hear about the good things I do for this city. They will see the great success and peace I give it. Then they will be filled with wonder. And they will tremble with fear.”

Let those who are evil stop doing evil things. And let them quit thinking evil thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord. The Lord will show them his tender love. Let them turn to our God. He is always ready to forgive.

Then listen to them from heaven. It’s the place where you live. Forgive them. Take action. Deal with everyone in keeping with everything they do. You know their hearts. In fact, you are the only one who knows every human heart.Your people will have respect for you. They will respect you as long as they are in the land you gave our people long ago.

You are the Lord our God. You show us your tender love. You forgive us. But we have turned against you.

Lord, you are forgiving and good. You are full of love for all who call out to you.

They will not need to teach their neighbor anymore. And they will not need to teach one another anymore. They will not need to say,‘ Know the Lord.’ That’s because everyone will know me. From the least important of them to the most important, all of them will know me,” announces the Lord.“ I will forgive their evil ways. I will not remember their sins anymore.”

God was bringing the world back to himself through Christ. He did not hold people’s sins against them. God has trusted us with the message that people may be brought back to him.

Lord, be true to your name. Forgive my sin, even though it is great.

After that, the people of Israel will return to the Lord their God. They will look to him and to a king from the family line of David. In the last days, they will tremble with fear as they come to the Lord. And they will receive his full blessing.

Because of what the Son has done, we have been set free. Because of him, all our sins have been forgiven.

I will praise the Lord. I won’t forget anything he does for me.He forgives all my sins. He heals all my sicknesses.

Those who belong to Christ Jesus are no longer under God’s judgment.

We have been set free because of what Christ has done. Because he bled and died our sins have been forgiven. We have been set free because God’s grace is so rich.

You have come to Jesus. He is the go- between of a new covenant. You have come to the sprinkled blood. It promises better things than the blood of Abel.Be sure that you don’t say no to the one who speaks. People did not escape when they said no to the one who warned them on earth. And what if we turn away from the one who warns us from heaven? How much less will we escape!At that time his voice shook the earth. But now he has promised,“ Once more I will shake the earth. I will also shake the heavens.”( Haggai 2:6)The words“ once more” point out that what can be shaken can be taken away. I’m talking about created things. Then what can’t be shaken will remain.We are receiving a kingdom that can’t be shaken. So let us be thankful. Then we can worship God in a way that pleases him. Let us worship him with deep respect and wonder.

“ Come. Let us settle this matter,” says the Lord.“ Even though your sins are bright red, they will be as white as snow. Even though they are deep red, they will be white like wool.

Serve the Lord and have respect for him. Celebrate his rule with trembling.Obey the son completely, or he will be angry. Your way of life will lead to your death. His anger can blaze out at any moment. Blessed are all those who go to him for safety.

Lord, who is a God like you? You forgive sin. You forgive your people when they do what is wrong. You don’t stay angry forever. Instead, you take delight in showing your faithful love to them.Once again you will show loving concern for us. You will completely wipe out the evil things we’ve done. You will throw all our sins into the bottom of the sea.You will be faithful to Jacob’s people. You will show your love to Abraham’s children. You will do what you promised to do for our people. You made that promise long ago.

Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace. The church was strengthened and grew larger. That’s because they worshiped the Lord and the Holy Spirit helped them.

Then the Lord came down in the cloud. He stood there with Moses and announced his name, the Lord.As he passed in front of Moses, he called out. He said,“ I am the Lord, the Lord. I am the God who is tender and kind. I am gracious. I am slow to get angry. I am faithful and full of love.I continue to show my love to thousands of people. I forgive those who do evil. I forgive those who refuse to obey me. And I forgive those who sin. But I do not let guilty people go without punishing them. I cause the sins of the parents to affect their children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.”

But God’s solid foundation stands firm. Here is the message written on it.“ The Lord knows who his own people are.”( Numbers 16:5) Also,“ All who say they believe in the Lord must turn away from evil.”
