主耶和華歟、爾若注意罪愆、孰能卓立兮、

耶和華兮、若爾鑒察惡行、人難自立兮、

主若究察罪愆、主歟、何人能立、

天下之人。誰無罪尤。主若深究。孰能無憂。

If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?

Lord, suppose you kept a close watch on sins. Lord, who then wouldn’t be found guilty?

If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

Lord, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive?

LORD, if you kept an account of iniquities, Lord, who could stand?

If You, Lord, were to keep account of guilty deeds, Lord, who could stand?

If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

If thou, Jehovah, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

Yahweh, if You considered sins, Lord, who could stand?

If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

If you, O LORD, were to keep track of sins, O Lord, who could stand before you?

Don’t enter into judgment with your servant, for in your sight no man living is righteous.

if I sin, then you mark me. You will not acquit me from my iniquity.

You, even you, are to be feared. Who can stand in your sight when you are angry?

for the great day of his wrath has come; and who is able to stand?”

Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets;even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction,for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;

Though I am righteous, my own mouth will condemn me. Though I am blameless, it will prove me perverse.

But when they continued asking him, he looked up and said to them,“ He who is without sin among you, let him throw the first stone at her.”Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground with his finger.They, when they heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning from the oldest, even to the last. Jesus was left alone with the woman where she was, in the middle.

Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the fierceness of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken apart by him.

All we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way; and Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

“ But who can endure the day of his coming? And who will stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner’s fire, and like launderers’ soap;

“ Truly I know that it is so, but how can man be just with God?If he is pleased to contend with him, he can’t answer him one time in a thousand.

What is man, that he should be clean? What is he who is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?
