yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!

Save me so I can praise you publicly at Jerusalem’s gates, so I can rejoice that you have rescued me.

But I am like an olive tree, thriving in the house of God. I will always trust in God’s unfailing love.

How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!

I am worn out waiting for your rescue, but I have put my hope in your word.

Then Hannah prayed:“ My heart rejoices in the Lord! The Lord has made me strong. Now I have an answer for my enemies; I rejoice because you rescued me.

Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.

But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.

There I will go to the altar of God, to God— the source of all my joy. I will praise you with my harp, O God, my God!Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!
