maintain yourselves in the love of God, while anticipating the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that brings eternal life.

I will rejoice because of the LORD; I will be happy because of the God who delivers me!

Then I will tell about all your praiseworthy acts; in the gates of Daughter Zion I will rejoice because of your deliverance.”

But I am like a flourishing olive tree in the house of God; I continually trust in God’s loyal love.

Look, God is my deliverer! I will trust in him and not fear. For the LORD gives me strength and protects me; he has become my deliverer.”

and my spirit has begun to rejoice in God my Savior,

I desperately long for your deliverance. I find hope in your word.

Hannah prayed,“ My heart rejoices in the LORD; my horn is exalted high because of the LORD. I loudly denounce my enemies, for I am happy that you delivered me.

Let me again experience the joy of your deliverance! Sustain me by giving me the desire to obey!

Look, the LORD takes notice of his loyal followers, those who wait for him to demonstrate his faithfulness

An evil person suffers much pain, but the LORD’s faithfulness overwhelms the one who trusts in him.

So the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen; everything was just as they had been told.

For our hearts rejoice in him, for we trust in his holy name.May we experience your faithfulness, O LORD, for we wait for you.

The LORD takes delight in his faithful followers, and in those who wait for his loyal love.

How precious is your loyal love, O God! The human race finds shelter under your wings.

Then I will go to the altar of God, to the God who gives me ecstatic joy, so that I express my thanks to you, O God, my God, with a harp.Why are you depressed, O my soul? Why are you upset? Wait for God! For I will again give thanks to my God for his saving intervention.
