去時皆嗚咽。含淚播種子。來時應怡怡。帶笑刈嘉穗。

Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.

Those who go out weeping as they carry seeds to plant will come back singing with joy. They will bring the new crop back with them.

He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.

They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.

Do not be deceived. God will not be made a fool. For a person will reap what he sows,because the person who sows to his own flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

( 9: 1) The people walking in darkness see a bright light; light shines on those who live in a land of deep darkness.You have enlarged the nation; you give them great joy. They rejoice in your presence as harvesters rejoice; as warriors celebrate when they divide up the plunder.

to strengthen those who mourn in Zion, by giving them a turban, instead of ashes, oil symbolizing joy, instead of mourning, a garment symbolizing praise, instead of discouragement. They will be called oaks of righteousness, trees planted by the LORD to reveal his splendor.

For his anger lasts only a brief moment, and his good favor restores one’s life. One may experience sorrow during the night, but joy arrives in the morning.

“ When that time comes,” says the LORD,“ the people of Israel and Judah will return to the land together. They will come back with tears of repentance as they seek the LORD their God.They will ask the way to Zion; they will turn their faces toward it. They will come and bind themselves to the LORD in a lasting covenant that will never be forgotten.

“ As for you, if you prove faithful, and if you stretch out your hands toward him,if iniquity is in your hand– put it far away, and do not let evil reside in your tents.For then you will lift up your face without blemish; you will be securely established and will not fear.For you will forget your trouble; you will remember it like water that has flowed away.And life will be brighter than the noonday; though there be darkness, it will be like the morning.

For this reason they are before the throne of God, and they serve him day and night in his temple, and the one seated on the throne will shelter them.They will never go hungry or be thirsty again, and the sun will not beat down on them, nor any burning heat,because the Lamb in the middle of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

I will get up and go to my father and say to him,“ Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.I am no longer worthy to be called your son; treat me like one of your hired workers.”’So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way from home his father saw him, and his heart went out to him; he ran and hugged his son and kissed him.Then his son said to him,‘ Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’But the father said to his slaves,‘ Hurry! Bring the best robe, and put it on him! Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet!Bring the fattened calf and kill it! Let us eat and celebrate,because this son of mine was dead, and is alive again– he was lost and is found!’ So they began to celebrate.

Calling for lights, the jailer rushed in and fell down trembling at the feet of Paul and Silas.Then he brought them outside and asked,“ Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”They replied,“ Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.”Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him, along with all those who were in his house.At that hour of the night he took them and washed their wounds; then he and all his family were baptized right away.The jailer brought them into his house and set food before them, and he rejoiced greatly that he had come to believe in God, together with his entire household.
