貧窮者屈抑、困乏者欷歔、耶和華曰、我必興起、如其所慕、置諸穩善之區、

維此貧民、受屈欷歔、耶和華曰、余必勃然而興、手援之兮、不使藐視於人斯。

主曰、貧苦人被虐、困窮人歎息、我將興起、救其脫於欺之之人、救其脫於欺之之人或作救彼慕救之人

此輩炫利口。自謂世無敵。脣舌我自主。誰得相干涉。

The Lord says,“ The poor are being robbed. Those who are in need groan. So I will stand up to help them. I will keep them safe from those who tell lies about them.”

“ Because the poor are plundered, because the needy groan, I will now arise,” says the Lord;“ I will place him in the safety for which he longs.”

The Lord replies,“ I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the poor. Now I will rise up to rescue them, as they have longed for me to do.”

“ Because of the devastation of the needy and the groaning of the poor, I will now rise up,” says the LORD.“ I will provide safety for the one who longs for it.”

“ Because of the devastation of the poor, because of the groaning of the needy, Now I will arise,” says the Lord;“ I will put him in the safety for which he longs.”

“ For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, Now I will arise,” says the Lord;“ I will set him in the safety for which he yearns.”

Because of the oppression of the poor, because of the sighing of the needy, Now will I arise, saith Jehovah; I will set him in the safety he panteth for.

“ Because of the oppression of the afflicted and the groaning of the poor, I will now rise up,” says the Lord.“ I will put the one who longs for it in a safe place.”

For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set[ him] in safety[ from him that] puffeth at him.

“ Because of the violence done to the oppressed, because of the painful cries of the needy, I will spring into action,” says the LORD.“ I will provide the safety they so desperately desire.”

“ Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says Yahweh;“ I will set him in safety from those who malign him.”

This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.

Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty.

Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.

He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free,the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous.

He saves the needy from the sword in their mouth; he saves them from the clutches of the powerful.

You will be protected from the lash of the tongue, and need not fear when destruction comes.

During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God.God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob.

Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless.

“ Now will I arise,” says the Lord.“ Now will I be exalted; now will I be lifted up.

The Lord said,“ I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey— the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them.

Again I looked and saw all the oppression that was taking place under the sun: I saw the tears of the oppressed— and they have no comforter; power was on the side of their oppressors— and they have no comforter.

Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.Because I have sinned against him, I will bear the Lord’s wrath, until he pleads my case and upholds my cause. He will bring me out into the light; I will see his righteousness.

But his father will die for his own sin, because he practiced extortion, robbed his brother and did what was wrong among his people.

He oppresses the poor and needy. He commits robbery. He does not return what he took in pledge. He looks to the idols. He does detestable things.He lends at interest and takes a profit. Will such a man live? He will not! Because he has done all these detestable things, he is to be put to death; his blood will be on his own head.

It will be a sign and witness to the Lord Almighty in the land of Egypt. When they cry out to the Lord because of their oppressors, he will send them a savior and defender, and he will rescue them.

Do not let the oppressed retreat in disgrace; may the poor and needy praise your name.Rise up, O God, and defend your cause; remember how fools mock you all day long.

His ways are always prosperous; your laws are rejected by him; he sneers at all his enemies.

Do not exploit the poor because they are poor and do not crush the needy in court,for the Lord will take up their case and will exact life for life.

If you see the poor oppressed in a district, and justice and rights denied, do not be surprised at such things; for one official is eyed by a higher one, and over them both are others higher still.

defending the fatherless and the oppressed, so that mere earthly mortals will never again strike terror.

Then they got rid of the foreign gods among them and served the Lord. And he could bear Israel’s misery no longer.

Why should the nations say,“ Where is their God?” Before our eyes, make known among the nations that you avenge the outpoured blood of your servants.May the groans of the prisoners come before you; with your strong arm preserve those condemned to die.
