Help, Lord, for no one is faithful anymore; those who are loyal have vanished from the human race.

Save, O Lord, for the godly one is gone; for the faithful have vanished from among the children of man.

Offending and denying the Lord, And turning away from our God, Speaking oppression and revolt, Conceiving and uttering lying words from the heart.Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands far away; For truth has stumbled in the street, And uprightness cannot enter.Truth is lacking, And one who turns aside from evil makes himself a prey. Now the Lord saw, And it was displeasing in His sight that there was no justice.

How the faithful city has become a prostitute, She who was full of justice! Righteousness once dwelt in her, But now murderers.Your silver has become waste matter, Your drink diluted with water.

And because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will become cold.

No one sues righteously and no one pleads honestly. They trust in confusion and speak lies; They conceive trouble and give birth to disaster.

Many a person proclaims his own loyalty, But who can find a trustworthy person?

And God looked on the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for humanity had corrupted its way upon the earth.

I looked, but there was no one to help, And I was astonished and there was no one to uphold; So My own arm brought salvation to Me, And My wrath upheld Me.

Lord, do not rebuke me in Your anger, Nor discipline me in Your wrath.

Woe to me! For I am Like harvests of summer fruit, like gleanings of grapes. There is not a cluster of grapes left to eat, Nor an early fig, which I crave.The godly person has perished from the land, And there is no upright person among mankind. All of them lie in wait for bloodshed; Each of them hunts the other with a net.

And they came to Him and woke Him, saying,“ Save us, Lord; we are perishing!”

If the Lord of armies Had not left us a few survivors, We would be like Sodom, We would be like Gomorrah.

Arise, Lord; save me, my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheek; You have shattered the teeth of the wicked.

Save me, God, by Your name, And vindicate me by Your power.

But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and when he began to sink, he cried out, saying,“ Lord, save me!”

and Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed edom, Jeiel, and Azaziah, to lead with lyres tuned to the sheminith.

Return, Lord, rescue my soul; Save me because of Your mercy.
