Make me understand the way of Your precepts, And I will meditate on Your wonders.

Protect my soul, for I am godly; You my God, save Your servant who trusts in You.

This is what the Lord says, He who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you:‘ Do not fear, Jacob My servant, And Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.

But now, Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter, And all of us are the work of Your hand.Do not be angry beyond measure, Lord, Nor remember wrongdoing forever. Behold, please look, all of us are Your people.Your holy cities have become a wilderness, Zion has become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.

“ But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, Descendant of Abraham My friend,You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth And called from its remotest parts, And said to you,‘ You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not rejected you.Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will also help you, I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

“ Come up to me and help me, and let’s attack Gibeon, for it has made peace with Joshua and with the sons of Israel.”So the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon, gathered together and went up, they with all their armies, and camped by Gibeon and fought against it.Then the men of Gibeon sent word to Joshua at the camp at Gilgal, saying,“ Do not abandon your servants; come up to us quickly and save us and help us, for all the kings of the Amorites that live in the hill country have assembled against us.”

The Lord your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will rejoice over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.
