One generation goeth, and another generation cometh; but the earth abideth for ever.

Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if thou hast understanding.Who determined the measures thereof, if thou knowest? Or who stretched the line upon it?Whereupon were the foundations thereof fastened? Jehovah reigneth; he is clothed with majesty; Jehovah is clothed with strength; he hath girded himself therewith: The world also is established, that it cannot be moved.

The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: The world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

Know therefore that Jehovah thy God, he is God, the faithful God, who keepeth covenant and lovingkindness with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations,

For Jehovah is good; his lovingkindness endureth for ever, And his faithfulness unto all generations.

Who laid the foundations of the earth, That it should not be moved for ever.
