Therefore behold, just as your life was highly valued in my sight this day, so may my life be highly valued in the sight of the Lord, and may He rescue me from all distress.”

Saul went on one side of the mountain, and David and his men on the other side of the mountain; and David was hurrying to get away from Saul, while Saul and his men were surrounding David and his men to apprehend them.But a messenger came to Saul, saying,“ Hurry and come, for the Philistines have launched an attack against the land!”

The snares of the wicked have surrounded me, But I have not forgotten Your Law.

But David said to Abishai,“ Do not kill him, for who can reach out with his hand against the Lord’s anointed and remain innocent?”

The arrogant utterly deride me, Yet I do not turn aside from Your Law.

Yet they seek Me day by day and delight to know My ways, As a nation that has done righteousness And has not forsaken the ordinance of their God. They ask Me for just decisions, They delight in the nearness of God.
