我期盼你的应许实现，望眼欲穿。我说：“你何时才安慰我？”

我仰望你的应许以致眼睛昏花，我说：“你什么时候才安慰我呢？”

我的眼睛因渴望你的言语而衰竭；我说：“你什么时候才安慰我呢？”

我因盼望你的應許眼睛失明，說：你何時安慰我？

我因渴望你的話眼睛失明，說：「你何時安慰我呢？」

我的眼睛因渴望你的言語而衰竭；我說：「你什麼時候才安慰我呢？」

因望爾言、我目昏眊、乃曰、爾何時慰我兮、

我窮目力、望爾踐言、爾慰藉予、不知何時兮、

我盼慕主之應許、盼得眼穿、曰、主何時安慰我、

望眼欲穿。嗣音何遲。

My eyes are straining to see your promises come true. When will you comfort me?

My eyes fail with longing for Your word, While I say,“ When will You comfort me?”

My eyes fail from searching Your word, Saying,“ When will You comfort me?”

Mine eyes fail for thy word, While I say, When wilt thou comfort me?

My eyes grow weary looking for what You have promised; I ask,“ When will You comfort me?”

My eyes grow tired as I wait for your promise to be fulfilled. I say,“ When will you comfort me?”

I am weary with my crying. My throat is dry. My eyes fail looking for my God.

My eyes fail looking for your salvation, for your righteous word.

Relent, Yahweh! How long? Have compassion on your servants!Satisfy us in the morning with your loving kindness, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen evil.

Show me a sign of your goodness, that those who hate me may see it, and be shamed, because you, Yahweh, have helped me, and comforted me.

I said,“ I won’t see Yah, Yah in the land of the living. I will see man no more with the inhabitants of the world.

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when longing is fulfilled, it is a tree of life.

Your sons and your daughters will be given to another people. Your eyes will look, and fail with longing for them all day long. There will be no power in your hand.

My eyes fail with tears. My heart is troubled. My liver is poured on the earth, because of the destruction of the daughter of my people, because the young children and the infants swoon in the streets of the city.
