May the arrogant be humiliated, for they have slandered me! But I meditate on your precepts.

願傲慢人蒙羞，因為他們以詭詐誣衊我；至於我，我卻要默想你的訓詞。

願傲慢人蒙羞，因為他們以虛假屈枉我；我、我要默想你的訓令。

願傲慢人蒙羞，因為他們以虛謊屈枉我；但我要默想你的訓誡。

願驕人蒙羞、以其無端傾我、惟我思爾訓詞兮、

驕者侮予、出於無因、使彼蒙羞、我默想爾道不已兮、

驕傲人無故欺侮我、願其蒙羞、我惟默念主之命令、

相彼群姦。無故相侵。我仍樂道。涵泳日新。

May the arrogant be put to shame for wronging me without cause; but I will meditate on your precepts.

May proud people be put to shame for treating me badly for no reason. I will think deeply about your rules.

Let the insolent be put to shame, because they have wronged me with falsehood; as for me, I will meditate on your precepts.

Bring disgrace upon the arrogant people who lied about me; meanwhile, I will concentrate on your commandments.

Let the arrogant be put to shame for slandering me with lies; I will meditate on your precepts.

May the arrogant be put to shame, because they lead me astray with a lie; But I shall meditate on Your precepts.

Let the proud be ashamed, For they treated me wrongfully with falsehood; But I will meditate on Your precepts.

Let the proud be put to shame; For they have overthrown me wrongfully: But I will meditate on thy precepts.

Let the arrogant be put to shame for slandering me with lies; I will meditate on Your precepts.

Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause:[ but] I will meditate in thy precepts.

Let the proud be disappointed, for they have overthrown me wrongfully. I will meditate on your precepts.

May those who want to harm me be totally embarrassed and ashamed! May those who arrogantly taunt me be covered with shame and humiliation!

You reprimand arrogant people. Those who stray from your commands are doomed.

I did not harm them, but they hid a net to catch me and dug a pit to trap me.

Instead he finds pleasure in obeying the LORD’s commands; he meditates on his commands day and night.

He went on to say,“ Why is my lord chasing his servant? What have I done? What wrong have I done?

Certainly none who rely on you will be humiliated. Those who deal in treachery will be thwarted and humiliated.

Arrogant people do nothing but scoff at me. Yet I do not turn aside from your law.

Today your own eyes see how the LORD delivered you– this very day– into my hands in the cave. Some told me to kill you, but I had pity on you and said,‘ I will not extend my hand against my lord, for he is the LORD’s chosen one.’Look, my father, and see the edge of your robe in my hand! When I cut off the edge of your robe, I didn’t kill you. So realize and understand that I am not planning evil or rebellion. Even though I have not sinned against you, you are waiting in ambush to take my life.May the LORD judge between the two of us, and may the LORD vindicate me over you, but my hand will not be against you.

He said to David,“ You are more innocent than I, for you have treated me well, even though I have tried to harm you!

Those who hate me without cause are more numerous than the hairs of my head. Those who want to destroy me, my enemies for no reason, outnumber me. They make me repay what I did not steal!

You will stumble and fall, you proud city; no one will help you get up. I will set fire to your towns; it will burn up everything that surrounds you.”

Now this happened to fulfill the word that is written in their law,‘ They hated me without reason.’

O LORD my God, if I have done what they say, or am guilty of unjust actions,or have wronged my ally, or helped his lawless enemy,may an enemy relentlessly chase me and catch me; may he trample me to death and leave me lying dishonored in the dust.( Selah)

They surround me and say hateful things; they attack me for no reason.

For what credit is it if you sin and are mistreated and endure it? But if you do good and suffer and so endure, this finds favor with God.

Though rulers plot and slander me, your servant meditates on your statutes.

The arrogant dig pits to trap me, which violates your law.All your commands are reliable. I am pursued without reason. Help me!
