May the arrogant be put to shame, because they lead me astray with a lie; But I shall meditate on Your precepts.

願驕人蒙羞、以其無端傾我、惟我思爾訓詞兮、

驕者侮予、出於無因、使彼蒙羞、我默想爾道不已兮、

驕傲人無故欺侮我、願其蒙羞、我惟默念主之命令、

相彼群姦。無故相侵。我仍樂道。涵泳日新。

May the arrogant be put to shame for wronging me without cause; but I will meditate on your precepts.

May proud people be put to shame for treating me badly for no reason. I will think deeply about your rules.

Let the insolent be put to shame, because they have wronged me with falsehood; as for me, I will meditate on your precepts.

Bring disgrace upon the arrogant people who lied about me; meanwhile, I will concentrate on your commandments.

Let the arrogant be put to shame for slandering me with lies; I will meditate on your precepts.

Let the proud be ashamed, For they treated me wrongfully with falsehood; But I will meditate on Your precepts.

Let the proud be put to shame; For they have overthrown me wrongfully: But I will meditate on thy precepts.

Let the arrogant be put to shame for slandering me with lies; I will meditate on Your precepts.

Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause:[ but] I will meditate in thy precepts.

May the arrogant be humiliated, for they have slandered me! But I meditate on your precepts.

Let the proud be disappointed, for they have overthrown me wrongfully. I will meditate on your precepts.

May those be ashamed and altogether humiliated who rejoice at my distress; May those who exalt themselves over me be clothed with shame and dishonor.

You rebuke the arrogant, the cursed, Who wander from Your commandments.

For they hid their net for me without cause; Without cause they dug a pit for my soul.

But his delight is in the Law of the Lord, And on His Law he meditates day and night.

He also said,“ Why then is my lord pursuing his servant? For what have I done? Or what evil is in my hand?

Indeed, none of those who wait for You will be ashamed; Those who deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed.

The arrogant utterly deride me, Yet I do not turn aside from Your Law.

Behold, this day your eyes have seen that the Lord had handed you over to me today in the cave, and someone said to kill you, but I spared you; and I said,‘ I will not reach out with my hand against my lord, because he is the Lord’s anointed.’So, my father, look! Indeed, look at the edge of your robe in my hand! For by the fact that I cut off the edge of your robe but did not kill you, know and understand that there is no evil or rebellion in my hands, and I have not sinned against you, though you are lying in wait for my life, to take it.May the Lord judge between you and me, and may the Lord take vengeance on you for me; but my hand shall not be against you.

And he said to David,“ You are more righteous than I; for you have dealt well with me, while I have dealt maliciously with you.

Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head; Those who would destroy me are powerful, those who oppose me with lies; What I did not steal, I then have to restore.

The arrogant one will stumble and fall With no one to raise him up; And I will set fire to his cities, And it will devour all his surroundings.”

But this has happened so that the word that is written in their Law will be fulfilled:‘ They hated Me for no reason.’

O Lord my God, if I have done this, If there is injustice in my hands,If I have done evil to my friend, Or have plundered my enemy for no reason,Let the enemy pursue my soul and overtake it; And let him trample my life to the ground And lay my glory in the dust. Selah

They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, And have fought against me without cause.

For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God.

Even though rulers sit and speak against me, Your servant meditates on Your statutes.

The arrogant have dug pits for me, People who are not in accord with Your Law.All Your commandments are faithful; They have persecuted me with a lie; help me!
