I know, Lord, that your laws are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.

耶和華兮、爾之法度無不義、是余所知、爾雖降災於我、乃玉我於成兮、

主歟、我知主之判斷至公義、主使我受苦、亦待我以誠實、

靈隲無瑕。實維眞神。愛我以德。降災以懲。

Lord, I know that your laws are right. You were faithful to your promise when you made me suffer.

I know, O Lord, that your rules are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.

I know, O Lord, that your regulations are fair; you disciplined me because I needed it.

I know, LORD, that your judgments are just and that you have afflicted me fairly.

I know, Lord, that Your judgments are righteous, And that You have afflicted me in faithfulness.

I know, O Lord, that Your judgments are right, And that in faithfulness You have afflicted me.

I know, O Jehovah, that thy judgments are righteous, And that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me.

I know, Lord, that Your judgments are just and that You have afflicted me fairly.

I know, O LORD, that thy judgments[ are] right, and[ that] thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.

I know, LORD, that your regulations are just. You disciplined me because of your faithful devotion to me.

Yahweh, I know that your judgments are righteous, that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.

Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.

They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness.No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.

“ If his sons forsake my law and do not follow my statutes,if they violate my decrees and fail to keep my commands,I will punish their sin with the rod, their iniquity with flogging;but I will not take my love from him, nor will I ever betray my faithfulness.

I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws.

Far be it from you to do such a thing— to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.

All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal.

At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws.

and because I consider all your precepts right, I hate every wrong path.

Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar. As it is written:“ So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.”But if our unrighteousness brings out God’s righteousness more clearly, what shall we say? That God is unjust in bringing his wrath on us?( I am using a human argument.)

God has no need to examine people further, that they should come before him for judgment.

You are always righteous, Lord, when I bring a case before you. Yet I would speak with you about your justice: Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all the faithless live at ease?
