He said to him,“ Why do you ask me about what is good? There is only one who is good. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

Certainly O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, and show great faithfulness to all who cry out to you.

You deserve praise, O LORD! Teach me your statutes!

so that you may be like your Father in heaven, since he causes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

And Moses said,“ Show me your glory.”And the LORD said,“ I will make all my goodness pass before your face, and I will proclaim the LORD by name before you; I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy.”

Jesus said to him,“ Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.

I told you about my ways and you answered me. Teach me your statutes!

The LORD is both kind and fair; that is why he teaches sinners the right way to live.May he show the humble what is right! May he teach the humble his way!

Jesus said to him,“ Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.

I will tell of the faithful acts of the LORD, of the LORD’s praiseworthy deeds. I will tell about all the LORD did for us, the many good things he did for the family of Israel, because of his compassion and great faithfulness.

They will talk about the fame of your great kindness, and sing about your justice.The LORD is merciful and compassionate; he is patient and demonstrates great loyal love.The LORD is good to all, and has compassion on all he has made.
