I have considered my ways and have turned my steps to your statutes.

I have thought about the way I live. And I have decided to follow your covenant laws.

When I think on my ways, I turn my feet to your testimonies;

I pondered the direction of my life, and I turned to follow your laws.

Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?— unless indeed you are disqualified.

lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and I shall mourn for many who have sinned before and have not repented of the uncleanness, fornication, and lewdness which they have practiced.

Thus says the Lord of hosts:“ Consider your ways!

“ Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways,” says the Lord GOD.“ Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin.

Now therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts:“ Consider your ways!

Because he considers and turns away from all the transgressions which he committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

Let us search out and examine our ways, And turn back to the Lord;

“ But when he came to himself, he said,‘ How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him,“ Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you,and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”’“ And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.

But when the wicked turns from his wickedness and does what is lawful and right, he shall live because of it.

Again, when I say to the wicked,‘ You shall surely die,’ if he turns from his sin and does what is lawful and right,if the wicked restores the pledge, gives back what he has stolen, and walks in the statutes of life without committing iniquity, he shall surely live; he shall not die.None of his sins which he has committed shall be remembered against him; he has done what is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

“ Moreover you shall say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord:“ Will they fall and not rise? Will one turn away and not return?Why has this people slidden back, Jerusalem, in a perpetual backsliding? They hold fast to deceit, They refuse to return.I listened and heard, But they do not speak aright. No man repented of his wickedness, Saying,‘ What have I done?’ Everyone turned to his own course, As the horse rushes into the battle.

When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice( for the Lord your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.

So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.

“ I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself:‘ You have chastised me, and I was chastised, Like an untrained bull; Restore me, and I will return, For You are the Lord my God.Surely, after my turning, I repented; And after I was instructed, I struck myself on the thigh; I was ashamed, yes, even humiliated, Because I bore the reproach of my youth.’
