My heart says of you,“ Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek.

In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?

Hear me, Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.Guard my life, for I am faithful to you; save your servant who trusts in you. You are my God;have mercy on me, Lord, for I call to you all day long.

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.

Do good to your servant according to your word, Lord.

May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant.
