They confronted me in the day of my distress, but the Lord was my support.He brought me out to a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me.The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; He repaid me according to the cleanness of my hands.For I have kept the ways of the Lord and have not turned from my God to wickedness.Indeed, I have kept all His ordinances in mind and have not disregarded His statutes.
This is how we will know we belong to the truth and will convince our conscience in His presence,even if our conscience condemns us, that God is greater than our conscience, and He knows all things.Dear friends, if our conscience doesn’t condemn us, we have confidence before Godand can receive whatever we ask from Him because we keep His commands and do what is pleasing in His sight.Now this is His command: that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another as He commanded us.The one who keeps His commands remains in Him, and He in him. And the way we know that He remains in us is from the Spirit He has given us.
