How I love your instruction! It is my meditation all day long.

I will lift up my hands to your commands, which I love, and will meditate on your statutes.

Since I love your commands more than gold, even the purest gold,

I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.

Adopt the same attitude as that of Christ Jesus,

your decrees are my delight and my counselors.

I long for your salvation, LORD, and your instruction is my delight.

For in my inner self I delight in God’s law,

Your word is completely pure, and your servant loves it.

Now if I do what I do not want to do, I agree with the law that it is good.

So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and just and good.

Hallelujah! Happy is the person who fears the LORD, taking great delight in his commands.

The instruction of the LORD is perfect, renewing one’s life; the testimony of the LORD is trustworthy, making the inexperienced wise.The precepts of the LORD are right, making the heart glad; the command of the LORD is radiant, making the eyes light up.The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever; the ordinances of the LORD are reliable and altogether righteous.They are more desirable than gold— than an abundance of pure gold; and sweeter than honey dripping from a honeycomb.
