I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.

I will lead a full and happy life, because I’ve tried to obey your rules.

and I shall walk in a wide place, for I have sought your precepts.

When you walk, your steps will not be hindered, And when you run, you will not stumble.

But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me.

As He spoke these words, many believed in Him.Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him,“ If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”They answered Him,“ We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can you say,‘ You will be made free’?”Jesus answered them,“ Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever.Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.

You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.

I rejoice at Your word As one who finds great treasure.

My eyes are awake through the night watches, That I may meditate on Your word.

If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures;Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God.

So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty.

A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment.

I am a stranger in the earth; Do not hide Your commandments from me.

And I set my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all that is done under heaven; this burdensome task God has given to the sons of man, by which they may be exercised.

“ The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;

Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

It is good for me that I have been afflicted, That I may learn Your statutes.
