我詳究爾道、使我所行之路、綽然有餘兮、

我得行於寛廣之地、因我平日尋求主之命令、

優游聖道。恢恢綽綽。

I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.

I will lead a full and happy life, because I’ve tried to obey your rules.

I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments.

I will walk freely in an open place because I study your precepts.

And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Your precepts.

And I shall walk at liberty; For I have sought thy precepts.

When you walk, your step will not be hampered, and if you run, you will not stumble.

But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.

Keep steady my steps according to your promise, and let no iniquity get dominion over me.

As he was saying these things, many believed in him.So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him,“ If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”They answered him,“ We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say,‘ You will become free’?”Jesus answered them,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin.The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever.So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption. For whatever overcomes a person, to that he is enslaved.

You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me,

I rejoice at your word like one who finds great spoil.

My eyes are awake before the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promise.

if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures,then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.

So speak and so act as those who are to be judged under the law of liberty.

Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment.

I am a sojourner on the earth; hide not your commandments from me!

And I applied my heart to seek and to search out by wisdom all that is done under heaven. It is an unhappy business that God has given to the children of man to be busy with.

“ The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed,

Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn your statutes.
