俾向讒人。知所答覆。

then I can answer anyone who taunts me, for I trust in your word.

So shall I have an answer for him that reproacheth me; For I trust in thy word.

Then I can answer the one who taunts me, for I trust in Your word.

Then I will have a reply for the one who insults me, for I trust in your word.

So I will have an answer for him who reproaches me, for I trust in your word.

Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.I will be his father, and he shall be my son. And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest[ it] in three days, save thyself. Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon[ one that is] mighty; I have exalted[ one] chosen out of the people.I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.But my faithfulness and my mercy[ shall be] with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.He shall cry unto me, Thou[ art] my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.Also I will make him[ my] firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.His seed also will I make[ to endure] for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.It shall be established for ever as the moon, and[ as] a faithful witness in heaven. My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him that reproacheth me.

In God will I praise[ his] word: in the LORD will I praise[ his] word.In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

And there went over a ferry boat to carry over the king’s household, and to do what he thought good. And Shimei the son of Gera fell down before the king, as he was come over Jordan;And said unto the king, Let not my lord impute iniquity unto me, neither do thou remember that which thy servant did perversely the day that my lord the king went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take it to his heart.For thy servant doth know that I have sinned: therefore, behold, I am come the first this day of all the house of Joseph to go down to meet my lord the king.

Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.

[ As] with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where[ is] thy God?

CAPH. My soul fainteth for thy salvation:[ but] I hope in thy word.

They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.

For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for[ there is] none to deliver[ him].

I became also a reproach unto them:[ when] they looked upon me they shaked their heads.
