所許寅畏爾者之言、祈堅定於爾僕兮、

僕恆寅畏爾、願爾踐前言兮、

主向敬畏主者所許之言、求主應之於主之僕人、

令我恆懷。修省恐懼。

Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared.

Keep your promise to me. Then other people will have respect for you.

Confirm to your servant your promise, that you may be feared.

Confirm what you said to your servant, for it produces reverence for you.

Confirm to your servant your promise, which you made to the one who honors you.

I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their good, and the good of their children after them.I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good. I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.”

Now, Yahweh God, the word that you have spoken concerning your servant, and concerning his house, confirm it forever, and do as you have spoken.Let your name be magnified forever, saying,‘ Yahweh of Armies is God over Israel; and the house of your servant David will be established before you.’For you, Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, have revealed to your servant, saying,‘ I will build you a house.’ Therefore your servant has found in his heart to pray this prayer to you.“ Now, O Lord Yahweh, you are God, and your words are truth, and you have promised this good thing to your servant.Now therefore let it please you to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever before you; for you, Lord Yahweh, have spoken it. Let the house of your servant be blessed forever with your blessing.”

But Yahweh’s loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, his righteousness to children’s children,

Remember your word to your servant, because you gave me hope.

He will fulfill the desire of those who fear him. He also will hear their cry, and will save them.

For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him.

Yahweh takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his loving kindness.

Like a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him.

For however many are the promises of God, in him is the“ Yes.” Therefore also through him is the“ Amen”, to the glory of God through us.
