使我遠於詭道、施恩錫以爾律兮、

俾予遠離異端、而賜以律法兮、

求主使我離奸詐之道途、恩賜我以主之律法、

示以眞道。庶遠邪說。

Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me and teach me your law.

Keep me from cheating and telling lies. Be kind to me and teach me your law.

Put false ways far from me and graciously teach me your law!

Keep me from lying to myself; give me the privilege of knowing your instructions.

Keep me from the way of deceit and graciously give me your instruction.

Remove the false way from me, And graciously grant me Your Law.

Remove from me the way of lying, And grant me Your law graciously.

Remove from me the way of falsehood; And grant me thy law graciously.

This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another,‘ Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. (niv)

Lord, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress, to you the nations will come from the ends of the earth and say,“ Our ancestors possessed nothing but false gods, worthless idols that did them no good. (niv)

Such a person feeds on ashes; a deluded heart misleads him; he cannot save himself, or say,“ Is not this thing in my right hand a lie?” (niv)

and because I consider all your precepts right, I hate every wrong path. (niv)

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;to be made new in the attitude of your minds;and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.
