Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me and teach me your law.

Keep me from cheating and telling lies. Be kind to me and teach me your law.

Put false ways far from me and graciously teach me your law!

Keep me from the way of deceit and graciously give me your instruction.

Remove the false way from me, And graciously grant me Your Law.

Remove from me the way of lying, And grant me Your law graciously.

Remove from me the way of falsehood; And grant me thy law graciously.

Keep me from the way of deceit and graciously give me Your instruction.

Outside the city are the dogs— the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie.

But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying,‘ You should know the Lord.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already.

I hate and abhor all falsehood, but I love your instructions.

Those who worship false gods turn their backs on all God’s mercies.

Your commandments give me understanding; no wonder I hate every false way of life. Nun

Oh, that my actions would consistently reflect your decrees!

Take control of what I say, O Lord, and guard my lips.Don’t let me drift toward evil or take part in acts of wickedness. Don’t let me share in the delicacies of those who do wrong.

First, help me never to tell a lie. Second, give me neither poverty nor riches! Give me just enough to satisfy my needs.

Lord, you are my strength and fortress, my refuge in the day of trouble! Nations from around the world will come to you and say,“ Our ancestors left us a foolish heritage, for they worshiped worthless idols.

The poor, deluded fool feeds on ashes. He trusts something that can’t help him at all. Yet he cannot bring himself to ask,“ Is this idol that I’m holding in my hand a lie?”

Each of your commandments is right. That is why I hate every false way. Pe

throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception.Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.Put on your new nature, created to be like God— truly righteous and holy.So stop telling lies. Let us tell our neighbors the truth, for we are all parts of the same body.

Turn my eyes from worthless things, and give me life through your word.
