求主使我離奸詐之道途、恩賜我以主之律法、

示以眞道。庶遠邪說。

Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me and teach me your law.

Keep me from cheating and telling lies. Be kind to me and teach me your law.

Put false ways far from me and graciously teach me your law!

Keep me from lying to myself; give me the privilege of knowing your instructions.

Keep me from the way of deceit and graciously give me your instruction.

Remove from me the way of lying, And grant me Your law graciously.

Remove from me the way of falsehood; And grant me thy law graciously.

Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral persons, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel After those days, declares the Lord: I will put My laws into their minds, And write them on their hearts. And I will be their God, And they shall be My people.And they will not teach, each one his fellow citizen, And each one his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ For they will all know Me, From the least to the greatest of them.

I hate and loathe falsehood, But I love Your Law.

Those who are followers of worthless idols Abandon their faithfulness,

From Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way. Nun

Oh that my ways may be established To keep Your statutes!

Set a guard, Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips.Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, To practice deeds of wickedness With people who do wrong; And may I not taste their delicacies.

Keep deception and lies far from me, Give me neither poverty nor riches; Feed me with the food that is my portion,

Lord, my strength and my stronghold, And my refuge in the day of distress, To You the nations will come From the ends of the earth and say,“ Our fathers have inherited nothing but falsehood, Futility, and things of no benefit.”

He feeds on ashes; a deceived heart has misled him. And he cannot save himself, nor say,“ Is there not a lie in my right hand?”

Therefore I carefully follow all Your precepts concerning everything, I hate every false way. Pe

that, in reference to your former way of life, you are to rid yourselves of the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit,and that you are to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,and to put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.Therefore, ridding yourselves of falsehood, speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, because we are parts of one another.

“ For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord:“ I will put My law within them and write it on their heart; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.They will not teach again, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord,“ for I will forgive their wrongdoing, and their sin I will no longer remember.”

Turn my eyes away from looking at what is worthless, And revive me in Your ways.
