The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray.He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way.

People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you.Rescue me from my enemies, Lord; I run to you to hide me.Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.

You do not want a burnt offering.The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.Look with favor on Zion and help her; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.Then you will be pleased with sacrifices offered in the right spirit— with burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings. Then bulls will again be sacrificed on your altar.
