Indeed your statutes are my delight, and my counselors.

If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.

I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

“ And when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, he shall write for himself in a book a copy of this law, approved by the Levitical priests.And it shall be with him, and he shall read in it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the Lord his God by keeping all the words of this law and these statutes, and doing them,that his heart may not be lifted up above his brothers, and that he may not turn aside from the commandment, either to the right hand or to the left, so that he may continue long in his kingdom, he and his children, in Israel.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not your mother’s teaching.Bind them on your heart always; tie them around your neck.When you walk, they will lead you; when you lie down, they will watch over you; and when you awake, they will talk with you.For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life,

To whom shall I speak and give warning, that they may hear? Behold, their ears are uncircumcised, they cannot listen; behold, the word of the Lord is to them an object of scorn; they take no pleasure in it.

Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.[ Nun] Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Trouble and anguish have found me out, but your commandments are my delight.

Will he take delight in the Almighty? Will he call upon God at all times?

Moreover, by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.

To the teaching and to the testimony! If they will not speak according to this word, it is because they have no dawn.

[ Men] Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day.Your commandment makes me wiser than my enemies, for it is ever with me.I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation.I understand more than the aged, for I keep your precepts.

Let your mercy come to me, that I may live; for your law is my delight.

I rejoice at your word like one who finds great spoil.
