Unless thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts unto God.

and that from a babe thou hast known the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness:that the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.

And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book, out of that which is before the priests the Levites:and it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life; that he may learn to fear Jehovah his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them;that his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his children, in the midst of Israel.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate thereon day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

My son, keep the commandment of thy father, And forsake not the law of thy mother:Bind them continually upon thy heart; Tie them about thy neck.When thou walkest, it shall lead thee; When thou sleepest, it shall watch over thee; And when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; And reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

To whom shall I speak and testify, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of Jehovah is become unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.

Through thy precepts I get understanding: Therefore I hate every false way.Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path.

Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me; Yet thy commandments are my delight.

Will he delight himself in the Almighty, And call upon God at all times?

Moreover by them is thy servant warned: In keeping them there is great reward.

To the law and to the testimony! if they speak not according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.

Oh how love I thy law! It is my meditation all the day.Thy commandments make me wiser than mine enemies; For they are ever with me.I have more understanding than all my teachers; For thy testimonies are my meditation.I understand more than the aged, Because I have kept thy precepts.

Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; For thy law is my delight.

I rejoice at thy word, As one that findeth great spoil.
